You can get Castrol 10W-60 from your Audi dealerships for $9 and some change a liter. Don't buy it from BMW. Unless you like spending more.

Does BMW even still sell TWS or did you mean the BMW branded shell twin turbo bologna?

Great shout on the Audi dealers, though I've heard prices can vary, so may need to shop around if you have multiple dealers in your vicinity.

BMW partnered up with Shell so the dealerships no longer carry Castrol as far as I'm aware.

Here's Castrol's automotive partners: http://www.castrol.com/en_gb/united-...commended.html

Did you buy this off amazon or amazon.uk? Tried to look it up and can only find it being sold in the UK.

I get mine at the Audi dealer for $9.52/liter. It's nice when they think you own an R8

Nice but you are missing the great-great-grandfather version of the TWS 10w60

I got mine for $9.55 from audi last week. Oh the current version is made in Neudorf, Austria vs the previous version being made in Germany.

At one time there were two Castrol 10w60s. I'm worried that's still the case, a stout TWS made in germany and some other weak sauce version. Other worry is that there's just one 10w60 and it's not that good anymore. The one simply branded "EDGE" was not desirable, but this was a year or two ago...
