That is a good question as they appear identical and one is much cheaper.

According to ECS, the smokers package comes with a light and I just looked at mine and it has a light. If that is the only difference then definitely not worth it.

I bit the bullet and ordered a new radio bracket from ECS but it arrived with chips in the chrome and ECS were less than helpful with my complaint about it. The interior part durability in this car is a frustrating part of ownership.

I have a 03 vert. also, so I know how bad this trim can look with the top down in the daylight if it's all scratched up, but this looks pretty darn good for a quick fix.
I just replaced the center console, radio bracket, rear ashtray, sun glass holder upper support, coin holder and the front storage tray so I know it isn't cheap! Almost 500 bones! I kept my old stuff so I could attempt to wrap it in black nappa. This will make a great next winter project and 2 pieces of black nappa leather fabric, cement and black stitching will cost about 60 bux.

Some of the guys recommended plasti dip so tried it yesterday. Check the pics out here. It looks better. At some point I will buy new trim but for now this works. I like where your head's at on the nappa, sounds good.

Yeah no worries, I don't get excited lol. This might be my first rodeo with a BMW but not my first in the enthusiast world. Of course BMW owners think their forums and their cars are different (I'm totally kidding guys, I love my M3, don't kill me).

This is a pretty good forum and I enjoy all the "banter".
