Default Help me identify this transmission crossmember

Bought my M3 with this (manual trans) crossmember installed by a previous member.

The polyurethane bushings in it are cracked and definitely need to be replaced.

No documentation/receipts for it. Iíve been checking all the popular parts vendors I can think of (Ireland Engineering, Garagistic, Bimmerworld, ECS Tuning etc) and cant find it anywhere.

If anyone recognizes it and could help me figure out who makes this thing thatíd be great!

Thank you!

Do JT Designs parts have a shady reputation for reliability? Iíve never heard of them nor do they have their own website so Iím lead to believe theyíve gone out of business...

I was joking/serious. Only the underpanels are trash. The strut bars are highly regarded (although they are known to rub on the hood).

JTD has been around for years. Not sure how big the operation is, but it has a good reputation. I use the 12mm E36 rear shocks mounts. I think JTD makes them for TC Kline. I agree the two piece front undertray was not great — I had one years ago and prefer the Motion Motorsports one-piece.

Years ago, I bought a reinforced factory trans brace from Maximum Psi. It has held the trans against power that has twisted two driveshafts, broken two ZF320 and snapped 3 differential output shafts. The reinforcement is a strip of aluminum heated up to contour the bottom of the brace and tig welded in place. Simple and effective.
