Smile Just picked up an 2003 e46 M3..

Whats up M3Forum,

I just picked my M from Roxbury Bmw in NJ. 2003 Carbon Black with all options, fully loaded but 18s. It's SMG with 17,780 miles. Car already had a Dinan exhaust. I just drove it home and will have pics for you tom. Traded in my 04 SL600 50k miles. Love the car and cant seem to find any problems yet. Love the power and feel. Pics to follow tom

you sold a V12TT for M3?

I find it hard to believe you think M3 has power after driving Sl600

Too much power and no handling.

Welcome! I've driven a few Mercs, admittedly not an SL600, but I've just never felt that they were particularly sporty. Wait, there was one. The Cosworth engined E190 2.3 16V, but apart from that...

Obviously, can't comment on the relative power, and specifically the power-to-weight ratio, but given the choice, I would pick the M3 any day. And I'm not just saying that because I'm posting on M3Forum.net .

Sorry for the slight digression there. I'll get to the point: congratulations! I'm sure you'll enjoy your 'new to you' M3.
