It may just not be on a ship yet. It can take some time to get from Munich to the Ship, and then the ship (from what I recall) leaves every 10 days. Then it will take another 2 weeks or so to get over here, and a few days up to a week or so to clear customs.

Its a long drawn out process, the hardest thing of ED is the wait. My pick up date is on August 12th, so I will be in your shoes soon.

I dropped mine in Munich on Jun 30th and found out today that it is on the Boheme. Just call the ED office and they can tell you what ship and an ETA....takes about a week after it is loaded on the boat. There is also a status update tracker from the Harms.

Mine shipped on July 8, then shows in NJ on July 21, with a final destination of Port Brunswick on July 26. I'm doing a Performance Center re-delivery and hope for a 10 day clearance thru customs and then get it trucked over the the PC so I can pick it up on 8/13. That is 6.5 weeks with a few fluff days in customs and ground transport.

Here is a link to a tracker: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=563262000 This tracking site shows you what you can see once you find out the ship it is on....then just look it up and you'll get some real time info...enjoy!

Apparently the Boheme just left the South Hampton port and is traveling at 11.5 knots....but who's checking.

Congrats on the purchase, it's stunning. I think taking Euro Delivery would be the only thing that would convince me to buy new over used, seems like an amazing experience.

Honestly this is my FIRST new car. I have always been very anti-new-car since you take a depreciation hit when you drive it off the lot. You can just get used for much cheaper.

However now that i've tasted "new car", I have to say it's a great way to go. Used car you never get to experience the joy of picking out your own options, doing a trip like this, and knowing the car is 100% what you make of it.

Sure I could have saved 10-15 grand going used, but honestly money is money, living your life to the fullest is priceless.
