its so nice to have my reverse tilt mirror back!!

this may have also cured issues i was having with my aftermarket amp, it would intermittently have less power...the same song would sometimes have good amount of bass and sometimes be absent of bass which may have been an issue with the wires shorting and screwing with the grounding.

Yes, very common problem for many BMW vehicles...I've seen this personally on e28's, e34's, e36's, and e46's. Who knows what other BMW's have this issue. Doesn't hurt to check your car if you experience electrical problems or not.

Bumping old thread...

My car is currently a victim of this wiring mess. Opened my trunk yesterday morning to notice that one of my wires completely severed, and my car assumed trunk was open after closing and alarm wouldn't set upon locking it. I soldered and used heat shrink to patch it for now. I looked online and had no success sourcing a replacement wiring harness for the trunk.

Does anyone know of the part number for this guy??
