I can get the weight, but for a sound clip - just think Euro M3 (i.e., Euro headers and Euro cats in section 1). The CPI Euro Style Section 1 gives those that have installed aftermarket headers an affordable way to be emission compliant, get rid of the exhaust/fuel smell while keeping the performance gains that come from the aftermarket headers and yes - keeping the rasp.

Hmmmm, inserting 400 cell cats into a stock section one; this sounds like a great way to pass California smog! OP - How well does the Magnaflow 400 cell cat work? What data, if any, do you have on this cat's ability to clean up emissions? Thanks.

Total weight of the CPI Euro Style Section 1 w/200 cell cats is 13.5 lbs. The 400 cell version would weigh nearly the same - perhaps at 14 lbs. Also, the cats with stand-off bungs installed will be offered individually like the one shown below. (NOTE: in the picture below, the O2 bung stand-off is only tack-welded on for placement and alignment. The final product is fully welded.)

CPI Euro Style Catalytic Converter

For comparison purposes, the 200 cell cat is on the bottom - the 400 cell cat on top.

Here, the 200 cell metallic substrate cat is on the left and the 400 cell ceramic core cat on the right.
