Low miles mean very little on a salvaged car. Actually it’s worse, as it was considered salvaged even in its highest value. Point of wanting low miles is for peace of mind or potential increase in value. There is no peace of mind or increasing value with this salvaged car.

Salvaged m3’s can sell for somewhat decent price if it’s a special/rare example. Nobody is paying $17k or $13k for this salvaged run of the mill black m3.

Do you have link to these 200k mile salvaged e46’s that actually sold for $10k? Or was that just asking price and sold for much less...

Lol. Aside from everything else the ad says price is firm. If he was asking 8k, maybe 10k then sure. But at 18k, bad title and FIRM price. No way anyone is going to show interest.
Op, change that and I bet you get someone interested but be prepared for 10k offers.

Even at 10k he may be better parting it out, unfortunately. Engine and trans is worth $6-7k, the interior is another $1k, body panels hood/fenders etc/interior & exterior trim perhaps another $1k, there is probably another few thousand more in misc parts as well (mk60/dme/suspension/brakes). Easily get $10-12k out of it if he tried. It's a bunch of work and a massive pain in the ass though.
