Pardon my french, but your photo doesn't show shit. Just get a helper/ wife/ child to hold the throttle pedal down while the key is in the ON position with the engine OFF and make sure there's nothing it can hit.

Do you even have a clamp on the third one from the front?

Would be my guess that the hose clamps are your problem. Get the proper BMW clamps and reinstall the box.

@Drewster, had my friend use the gas and I was able to see that the 4 th throttle clamp was hitting the rod. I adjusted it to be out of the way and have not had an issue in three days now. Thanks for the advice!
