Default E92 Buying Recommendations

Newbie to this forum and thinking of purchasing a 2009 M3 with manual transmission (16k miles, CF roof, Nav).

I've done research on this forum and have found a few older threads on what to watch out for.

Does anyone have any additional "buyer beware" recommendations?

i haven't heard of any major issues with the new m3, so i'd say have it checked out and get a good deal on it! buena suerte...

Bought similar car last fall.
Just do your due diligence. Have the service history checked out. No crashes, etc.
These cars are still young, pretty much brand new, so there is very little history of problems and they have few if any problems.
My car is great.
Just do it!!!

Indeed, lousy gas mileage and keep eye on fuel pump and service manual should be taken care of nicely

Pretty good decision to get one with some miles on it to not take a hit on the depreciation. I should have done that, but the allure of a new M3 was just too strong.

The only "buyer beware" will be all the Mustangs, WRXs and G35 that will not like you and try to race you because your in the M.

I will provide a suggestion though. The v8 will sound unreal with an aftermarket exhaust. Personally, I bought a Borla because I had one on my e46 and loved it. It sounds great and scares people as they are walking their dogs. Fun stuff!
