50+ pounds and the highest part of the car is nothing. Also something that is nothing is less then 5% to as low is 1% are slick tops. Love all the nothing facts and cocky egos behind keyboards eh.

I don't think a slicktop adds value at this point.
Maybe down the road when (if) these cars become more collectible unusual options (or lack of option) may make a difference of a few % on value.

There are some many variables on these cars at this point, a slicktop, or cloth interior, or unusual color are just one consideration.

Also to clarify nothing facts this post is looking for information on slick top m3's production numbers by year and color. West seems to have a good sprint! Was just trying to get more views reach more people... it worked lol. Seriously my question is good it's hasn't been answered!

If there are only 500 or less slick tops in America..... that's nothing and doesn't *ucking matter. Stupid newbie eh.

You might also want to look into the European market and see if cars without a sunroom are rare there. What's rare here doesn't mean that it's rare, period.

There are plenty of E36s in Europe with single door speaker, no OBC or check function system (just a simple clock). There are also E36s in Europe with basic cloth seats. As equipped, these are considered rare here but it doesn't mean people desire them.

If you're concerned about the value of your car, a better way may be to research for its market value than to ask how many counter parts were produced.

Sliptop plus $1,000 premium?
175K miles minus $2-10K?
Just messing with you OP. I'd be curious to hear what the US statistic is. Good luck.

Slicktops are worth more to those who want them and cannot find the exact combo they are after. I'm personally willing to pay a premium for a 1996 chassis, slicktop, clean title. Color I do not care about, or condition other than no rust or major body damage.

Expect a 1-2k premium for a high mileage car with no significant restoration data. Maybe even zero premium if it's just a 175k driven car. The cars that command premiums have a lot going for them.

Stop acting like a little *****.
