No direct experience. My sister and her husband flew out here on them last year; they said it was the worst flight either of them had ever taken. I guess the difference is they don't make any bones about their shitty service.

SWA somehow gets treated like they are awesome because they have "funny" commercials. Flight attendants are always, always comedians (my family who work for them included) and someone not flushing a deuce in a public toilet.

That said, I talked to a colleague today in sales who says they're his favorite. He sometimes needs to stay an extra few hours/days at some place and the no-change fee is really big for him.

Seems like a really specific use case.
