Agreed! I've been waiting to pull the trigger until I know for certain this next e46 goes through

Morning Guys,

Sorry if this was a little shorter than standard. Haven't done one before. I didn't realise there were more people interested.

I'll have to see how people feel about me extending the group buy. I'm not sure what sort of rush people are in. I'll look into it and get back to you on that. Perhaps I can send out the urgent ones and refund the difference if higher numbers are achieved.

Regarding the underside plates, Yes they are still necessary.

This kit eliminates the need for underside reinforcement on the rear mounts however, the front mounts are still prone to failure. Due to the increase in thickness on front mounts, plates are then required on the rear to maintain geometry.

I have been working on producing underside plates of my own so that I can offer a complete comprehensive solution however, I've just been struggling to find time to get them wrapped up.

If anyone is interested, there will be a group buy for them too when complete.

Personally I would prefer to buy a complete solution from one source. I'd rather not have to piece together a kit of parts, top side components from you, bottom plates from someone else, pray the fasteners are long enough when everything is combined, etc. If I'm gonna do this, I just want to get it done right the first time and not have to have any unforeseen delays at the shop.

Morning guys,

I spoke with a few people who have already paid for their kits and they have are happy for me to proceed with the group buy. I promised that if we hit a higher discount percentage I will refund the difference to them.

My plan is to proceed with the group buy till the end of the month. What do you guys think of that? Please let me know

Please keep in mind that one buyer withdrew from the sale due to emergency medical bills so the quantity is currently at 9 buyers (discount is still 10%) so 6 additional kits need to be ordered to hit 15%.

That's my goal. I want to be able to offer a complete repair, reinforcement & restoration kit which includes underside plates, topside reinforcement for the front and rear mounts as well as solid subframe bushes & steering coupler.

I have a CNC contact I use for prototyping at work that I can use for aluminium machining.

Long term goal was to then design a bolt in roll cage that also ties into the subframe mounts & rear shock towers for myself and the more track focused owners. So far that is likely a year away or more.

plates are likely a month away minimum if things go smoothly.
