Thanks for the positive comments guys! Yeah, it is asthetically one of my favorite pieces for the engine bay. I should probably just get off my lazy butt and install the brace already. I am just getting to a point where I want to drive it, the few times a month that I have time to, rather than install more parts on it

Thanks skillz! Hopefully you'll be able to find that DIXIS brace . I think it will go well with your setup.

I'll probably end up mounting my BMWpf brace once I find another spot for the oil dipstick or get the CSL one.

Just slightly bend the OE one out of the way. Easy.

Hey Ejaz! I tried to bend it when it was out of the car, but it did not have any give. The outside temp was pretty cold, so I might try a heat gun next time. Also, the positioning needs to clear everything like it does now. I have seen a few CSL owners bend the dipstick tube where the heater valve is located, but they have the smaller valve with one cylinder rather than the two cylinders standard M3s have. I'll try one more time; otherwise, might just go with the CSL dipstick. Kalim was able to route his in a good spot, but I can't tell how much or which way he bent the tube.

If anyone has a CSL dipstick and tube, shoot me a PM
