It's a way better deal all around, they state explicitly that driving to work is okay and that there are not mileage limitations. Not to mention it is considerably less $$

I would wager that Mr mpower22's price would be around $300 (no more than $400) and then you can freely drive it like a goddamn American
I have grundy and i love it, but it does state in the policy that the car is only to be driven to car shows/weekend/pleasure, and no work driving at all.

They insured me for 30k agreed, and this was in 2015. I pay 360 a year

Our restrictions are as follows:

In consideration of the premium charged, it is hereby understood and agreed that any vehicle insured under this policy will be used for hobby purposes and exhibition and will not be used primarily for general transportation. It will not be used for backup transportation, or for errands, except for occasional pleasure use. It will not be driven to work or school or used for business or commercial purposes. The vehicle will not be used for towing, hauling or off road use.
It is further understood and agreed that any vehicle insured under this policy will not be used to participate in any rally gymkhana, speed contest, race or timed event of any kind.
that's exactly what my policy says, which is in conflicted to another post made from grundy that says occasional work use is okay?

They do offer daily policies for all car types. Not sure if you can get agreed value on those.

No backup use or errands? So maybe I was just too honest? Yes I want to drive my car sometimes, I just don't need to drive it a lot.

My search for a reasonable, agreed to value policy continues...

Seems like it should be simple to have an agreed value for your car, pay accordingly, and receive the repair cost up to that, or that in cash, in the event of a crash.

Yet clearly it isn't.
