Ugh - I'm in same boat and trying to see if I can find anyone who will offer agreed value coverage in MA...

I pay $450 a year for Grundy's but the main issue between them and other insurance carriers if my car is totaled or stolen, I get $30k for my LSB M3 and not book value. I would prefer to have normal coverage to be able to drive it when I see fit but book value vs. replacement value are different things.

(flat tire on daily driver) That is one of the things they do check into when a claim is made. Some have other restrictions, I find Hagerty's to be pretty good. It does say very clearly in policy can't be at a race track, even if your not racing.

Hey Antknee! I just saw your in Staten Island. I used to live in Tottenville. Grew up there. Saw it was 21 degrees today! Never again. Good luck bro.
sorry so late, i forgot about this thread! Its funny it was 20 degrees today.....south shore i see, i never venture over to that side of the island LOL

as far as my insurer, i have both E30 & E46 M3 insured with American Collectors. They were one of the few who were willing to insure my E30 (non-M3). I'm allowed 5,000/yr for each vehicle under my policy.

I just went through Grundy's online quote system -- $35k agreed value, $333 per year. I don't know why Hagerty won't do it, but I'm going to take Grundy up on their offer.

That's weird. Maybe I'll wait a few days and go through the automated route.

Repoman -- what are the restrictions on that policy?

Here's the entire conditions section of my quote:

COVERAGE IS CONTINGENT UPON COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
STORAGE: While not in use, my vehicle(s) will be kept in a fully enclosed garage.
USE:
1. My vehicle(s) will be used on a limited basis consistent with the operation of a collectible vehicle such as occasional pleasure drives
and club/hobby activities.
2. My vehicles(s) will not be used frequently for regular driving such as driving to and from work or school, shopping, errands, general
transportation, or back-up use.
INSURED REGULAR USE AUTO:
1. Each driver within my household has a separately insured regular use of vehicle of which he or she is the primary operator.
2. All of the regular use vehicles in my household are insured by a separate personal auto insurance policy (or if a business auto
policy, with the appropriate personal liability endorsements), maintained in my name (if owned by me), in full force and effect for the
entire term of this policy.
3. In no event will this policy serve as my household's only auto insurance.
REPLICA/KIT CAR
As a condition of any coverage provided by Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company, you must register your vehicle within 5 business
days. Once your vehicle has been registered with the state and issued a VIN number, please provide us with this information within 10
days. Upon receipt of this information, we shall issue you an updated Insurance ID card as well as provide the DMV in your state with
evidence of coverage for your vehicle(s).

Pretty much consistent with how I already use the car. Note that driving to work, errands etc is not totally disallowed, per the "frequently" keyword ...

Can anyone who actually has a policy with them chime in?

I have grundy. They agreed to my value instantly.

Is this Hagerty or Grundy?
