Default Subwoofer not working anymore

Hey all,

I have a 99 coupe with H/K audio that have all been switched to BavSound by the PO. In addition, he installed a Precision Power DCX 500.1 amp in the ceiling of the trunk and a JBL boxed/carpeted sub. The original H/K amp is still in the trunk, and it looks like the subwoofer is spliced into a white wire running from it.

A couple months ago I pulled the sub for an autocross, and when I went to put it back in a couple days later - nothing. All speakers still work with the exception of the sub. If anyone has had a story like this or has any advice, all is appreciated.

Details:

No radio fuses out from under the hood
Scosche 100A fuse right off of the battery is intact
All speakers work but the sub
Sub has continuity and worked while tested at a local audio shop today
Never blast music, and always keep my phone volume low to avoid distortion

Pictures:

Audio input - tape deck to aux (wired behind the stereo for aesthetics)

The +/- terminals of the subwoofer connect to this piece here:

aaaaand here is where that piece splices into some random wire:

and that random white wire is part of a wiring harness into the farthest connector on the H/K amp

Default Re: Subwoofer not working anymore

The connection to the white wire at the HK amp is correct, that's the remote turn-on signal for the the factory HK amp & tapped for the PPI amp.

Does the PPI amp turn on? There should be an LED on the side somewhere.

Also, the clear little box with the 4 speaker wires is a high to low level converter, are the RCA cables plugged into the converter? RCAs plugged into the amp?
