Default BAVSOUND speaker upgrade

So, my speakers are shot and I would like to listen to music while i drive occasionally. Curious if any1 has done the BAV sound speaker upgrade and how the quality is. I do not have HIFI or Harmon Kardon speakers.
2cents please

Do it. It's an easy no brainer upgrade with no "I do it for the sound" hackjob installs.

I have their kit for my HK setup. Even having yet to install the door speakers, I was very pleased with the rear deck and kick panel speakers.

+1. I run the same set up in my car and think it's a worthwhile upgrade. Net/net - good build quality/sound (relative to stock), no permanent modifications to make them work, tough to beat for the cost.

I've got it in my car. I don't have the stock experience to compare it to, but I like my music, and I've never felt the need for more.

I did the full Bavsound kit, including massaging the subwoofer kit to fit a sedan. I'm very satisfied, even as an audio nut.

The install was straightforward (follow their video on youtube), minus the subwoofer. Sounds great and I have also felt no reason to upgrade since.

I didn't know they made a kit for cars with non hifi or non HK systems. I'm assuming you have the 6 speaker system without an amp.

I recently did this upgrade after a couple speakers were cracked and needed replacing anyways. Sounds pretty good. The HK system was never very bright sounding so your ears may not hear much of a difference. I could tell each speaker can handle more volume before distortion is introduced.

Hows the bass compared to the stock HK system since the rear subwoofers are not retained?

I have done the full speaker swap in my Convertible. Sound is great. The kit made it easy to swap out all the speakers. They offer a tool kit as well and it actually is worth getting.
