Default New to M3 and BMW

Hey guys,

I am new to this site and to the E92 M3 world. I picked up my 2012 M3 frozen silver competition package about 4 months ago. Car has about 35K KM on it and looks to be in fantastic condition. Took a chance and bought the car site unseen and had it shipped from a neighboring province here in Canada. The previous owner was very meticulous and kept very good records. Also has an aftermarket warranty until 140K. So far I have only driven the car about 5 KM to my home. Can't wait until I can actually take it out for a real drive!

Just thought I would share

Is that unlimited years on the 140k km warranty? If it took 6 years to get to 35k, the time might run out before the km.

it expires June 2021 or if the mileage is reached before that date. pretty good peace of mind. I hope to put some miles on it but I am pretty sure the date will be reached before the 140k!

On that warranty, there is usually a clause in there that states if you modify the car with aftermarket parts, then the warranty is void. Now check for yourself, but if that is correct, then you might want to layoff the mods until the warranty expires. Also, great looking car.
