You'll have to look into getting them painted yourself. I have no interest in researching that. BMW used them as-is.

Click on the images in post 1 if you haven't already.

I don't have a car that needs this part, but it warms my heart that someone cares enough to produce it. Serious props to you guys!

Ouch at the price but some good close-ups of the OEM Gurney Flaps.

Didn't know the front splitter supports even existed either!

Yup. That's the new owner trying to make a quite a bit of profit. Although as an owner of these parts (less the struts) I love seeing this.

Those front tray struts are rare as f**k. Even Jim E didn't know what they were when I found the original eBay listing. If I could have afforded to, I would of bought that lot just to replicate the struts. There are numerous WTB posts in Europe looking for them at any price. In 2006 they were worth 2500 euros alone.

Some updates to this project;

I happened to find someone on BFC selling a lower 104cm wicker. I was happy to open the package and find out that it is also new. Turns out the seller has a good collection of these including that 108cm one I've only seen from Jim.

Anyway, the lower wickers will present a small challenge. The ends are little more than just rounded edges. They also appear to taper off the largest flat edge. Doable still, just adds more cost and time to perfect by the machine shop.

Ends look interesting though, are OE hand finished after extrusion without a profile gillotine?

In any case ive booked these as bday presents this year!

Awesome work! Will these only be available in a group buy capacity or are you planning on filling individual orders as well? I plan on buying the Abrahams GT replica at some point in the near future but I don't want to miss out on these.

i could fab those struts. could probably get the break at our machine shop setup to match the brackets really accurately too. looks like 1/4in or 8mm steel rod drilled and threaded in both ends and powdercoated black. other then the powder coat i could make theise for next to nothing.

anyone have some more info on them? maybe a good side profile pic of them installed to better see the degree of the bends? if anyone knows the exact size as well of any of the hardware to the rods one could guess the size of the rest of the parts quite well from the pictures in that ebay listing.

and bramond you ever get a ltw tray mounted to the motion underpannel? i remember you saying something about this awhile back.
