Update:
Got my car running to the point that it's drivable without worrying about it stalling. This is after 5 months of it sitting in the garage while I search for the fix to get it to idle properly. The latest change is a new silicone intake hose. However, after I pumped in a half tank of fresh gas the car is running nearly flawless. It idles rock steadily. There is still a slight miss at idle but it runs thru the rpms just fine. No longer stalling. The only thing I'll say is that I think it should pull harder than what it does now.
I can really enjoy the car again that I've missed driving nearly half year.

99% of my original issues are solved. Starting is not an issue. Idling is rock steady. Pulling normally.
The 1% problem is occasionally it seems to drop a cylinder or 2 and sound like a Subaru. It still maintains idle and won't stall as before. The acceleration is slow due to the dropped cylinder(s). However, if I turn the car off and restart, the electrics is rebooted and the engine is back to normal running on all 6 cylinders. While I'm glad to have a remedy to this situation when it arises, it's only temporary. What can I check to find this issue?

Small update here to my last post. I removed the valve cover for when the car would drop a cylinder I could pull over and check the coils by just unplugging each one by one to see if anything changes. Sure enough the problem emerged, I pulled over, popped the hood and began unplugging the coils. When I got to #4 nothing changed. Gotcha! So I went home and swapped it for a new one. That issue hasn't resurfaced in a couple weeks.
But I need some clarification on the TPS. My Haynes manual says there should be 5 VDC at terminal 3 and ground at connector. Yes. Then it says there should be approx. 4K ohms between terminals 1 and 3 at harness. Nope. My old one was giving me ~4.850K. New one is giving me ~4.250K ohms. It seems high. Is there anything wrong w even the new one?
