You guys should also throw another option to those without your radiator, definitely would be interested in a complete set with a mishimoto radiator

So, are we getting a fan with straight blades or curved blades? Your photos and even MM's site show discrepancies. Thanks

Noted! Thanks for the recommendation. A total cooling solution package is a great idea.

My apologies! We used different fans during the prototyping process. The fan included is the pictured straight-blade unit in the last set of images.

Can't wait to get this. Just received my radiator last week and it looks sweet! I'll be waiting to receive this before I do the radiator install.

I would like to get on the list. I have a question..... I would also like to get your upgraded radiator. Do you have a package to include in this group buy? Thanks. Looking forward to the complete set up!!!

Will the fan shroud fit almost any 16" electric fan? 1850CFM is on the lower end of performance compared to that of the SPAL performance electric fans, so I was hoping to see if it is possible to buy just the fan shroud.

I don't think you are taking fan depth into consideration. This application requires a slim fan since there is less than 3" of clearance between the radiator and belts/pulleys. The Spal VA18 - AP10/C - 41A will clear without interferance and it's only pulling 1300 cfm. The Spal high performance fans have a mounting depth of almost 3.5" or more and pulls about 1920 cfm. Show me a skinny 16" fan that pulls more than 1800 cfm and fits... I'll be the first in line to buy it. This is with the Spal slim line fan...

I was considering keeping the Spal, but if I can get an additional 500+ cfm out of it, then I'll bite the bullet and get the Mishi fan/shroud kit...

Well, you're mounting the fan in the center with the least amount of clearance. The Mishimoto fan shroud makes it off center and towards the passenger side of the car. The SPAL is only thick at the center piece of the motor. The fan blade portion is thinner at just over an inch at the edges. You just need to move the fan over by 2.5" and it should give you room to clear the fan clutch threads. I have the thicker Bimmerworld radiator so it makes for even worse for clearance, so the fan offset is my only choice. It would be nice to get more CFM since there have been cases with people overheating sitting in traffic with an electric fan. Explains why Bimmerworld has one for budget street and one for stop and go driving.

Hmmm... I'll have to take another look. It didn't look like I'd gain much (if any) addition space. So the belts and pulleys will clear the fan's motor section? That would give me more options. Thx
