Getting ready to go to Laguna Seca in about a week and of course COG light starts coming on and throwing me in neutral. I did the "stand up" resistor mod. The COG light came on afterwards, but didn't throw me into neutral, however the engine temp didn't get as hot as it did when it did throw me into neutral, so I'm hoping for the best.

On a bright note, flushed the brake system with Castrol SRF and got an alignment at Elite Performance (they have really sick cars over there). Ended up going with -2F, -1.6R for camber and 0F, 1/32R inward for toe.

I had a similar issue with my other m3 with the cog light turning on and it put me in Neutral and locked me out the first time just like all the temp symptoms, but did the resistor mod and had the same light kept coming on so I just did a manual swap to simplify life and turned out it was actually a compression spring that broke inside the transmission. Apparently thatís a common problem as well.

Thanks for the offer, Iíve already installed most of the parts into my tiag m3 recently but the headgasket blew so Iíll now be transporting it all over to the steel grey

Yeah if it keeps giving me issues I'm gonna just pull the trigger on a 6spd swap

Getting the car ready for track day next week at Laguna. Flushed the brake and put in Castrol SRF, got a decent alignment, threw on AR20 on my section 1.

Did my first track day at Laguna Seca with SpeedSF over this President's Day. I was worried about the SMG and the possibility of overheating, but my car ran perfectly! Temps danced around 210F the entire time and never went to anything crazy, the cog light also never came on and SMG definitely made a case to not do the 6spd swap. Also realized I don't need anymore power so I probably will put a pause on the airbox/FI ideas for now.

Couple things I want to do after this track day: SS brake lines, track pads, lighter wheels, and try to "bulletproof the SMG". Overall the car really proved itself to me.

Here are some pictures of throughout the day.

Small update
I'll be heading to Thunderhill West this Sunday with JaredMV and SeanS54 with the following upgrades done since the last track day: SS brake lines, PFC08 pads, Centric rotors blanks.

It'll also be my last day running with the BCs as I purchased DanAvoN7's old coilover set up (TCKline DAs). I'll be putting these on early April and getting it corner balanced.

Items currently in pipeline: updated eventuri filter, eventuri scoop, gc adjustable endlinks, tckline da coilovers.

Here's a link to a recent mishap with my brake line that finally ended (thank god): http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showp...9&postcount=23
