Cool little car, would even consider buying if available in a manual.

Also that price, you could get something like a GT350 for less.

Car definitely needs black optics and a wheel update. Funny thing is the carbon ceramic brake package on these cars overheats the rest of the brake setup more than steel. Friend just sent me this pic of one with the CC brakes that has less than 1k miles (on track only fwiw). Check out the caliper discoloration and dust boots...Audi didn't really develop these cars on the track (not that this would be someone's primary track car).

WWOTD? Used F80 M3 or New RS3? If the RS3 came to the states in hatchback form it would be an easy choice for me

Yeah, and as R&T stated, if 2nd gear were a little taller it would have been even quicker. (2nd gear was good for 59mph)....

Also, yes... It's hard to believe that this segment loaded up is topping $70K now

My god that merc looks bad... and the worst you should ever do on an M2 is MSRP... not sure where $70+ is coming from.

Yeah, me too and I have a DSG. I thought about an S3 DSG, but there seemed to be no reason whatsoever to choose one over my R, which was a lot cheaper. I'm sure it's a great car though.

The CLA is a catastrophe. Looks and driving experience are trash. I cannot fathom how anyone would pay 25k for that car never mind 70.
The m2 and the rs3 are as beautiful as new hopped up entry level cars can be. I've only driven an s3, and besides wanting another pedal, it was awesome! I saw a nardo RS3 in person a few days ago and it really was a great looking car, and the interior was a step up from the M2. I'd love to be the owner of either if I was in the market for a new car.

Love the engine in the RS3, and a few other things about it, but the lack of widebody kills it for me.
