Nice work!

A couple questions-- what are you doing for oil cooling, and if you've taken it on track, what sort of temps are you seeing under those conditions?

I'm having a hell of a time chasing down oil cooling, and my on-highway oil temps are the same 210-215F as measured in the same position you are using. I'm seeing up to 275 oil temp after a few laps with a fully ducted C&R e36 oil cooler.

Hey, no track time, but street I see temps at about 205 up to 215 normally...slightly higher for a full 1-5 pull to redline. My oil cooler is Derale 13x6x2 w -10an lines, stock diverter. The cooler is mounted right at the kidneys with unimpeeded flow. Dimensionally it works at to just ever so slightly larger than stock E46M cooling volumn.

M3 mirrors and skirts I’m looking for and I also want to do some more aero. Everything is on hold until the move is done, but once I’m in, full 3 car garage to work in!

Going to get custom airbox, intake, 2.5 headers / cats etc. Can’t wait. And believe it or not I found ANOTHER Z3M S54 cluster locally, so now I can work on matching mileage

Cool, thanks. For mileage-- did you ever ping Cyberkaa (Kalim)? We updated the mileage on my Z3M S54 cluster to match chassis mileage, though I don't recall exactly how we did it (he's the wizard). I do recall driving around a bunch and taking binary dumps to figure out what bits were changing every mile, but we did get it to work.

S54 with headers/exhaust/airbox is preeeeeetty freaking sweet.

Yea I did while ago, but he didn't really say much if I recall. What I am not getting is where the dumps are being pulled from. Is it literal hardware chip reading and writing? Ill need an Arduino thing?

I'm on the fence because these things are like gold haha cant believe I found the second one locally. I don't want to corrupt it...I may take it to a computer place for the dump.

Just to keep with the updates. Purchased a new home with an awesome garage. 3 car across, 47 feet by 27 feet deep with 2 additional work rooms. The GF took the large work room unfortunately haha

Now that the headers are finished, I went out to log some runs the other day (Hard runs) to get a base line before I install them. Car ran great, but when I got back to the garage, I noticed some oil on the ground. I had a weeping pan gasket before, but upon inspection, it looked like the OFH to -aN adapter was leaking at high RPM pressures too. This paired with the high IATs I was seeing due to the cone intake. I decided to knock those two things out in one project.

After I got the garage cleared out and ready for vehicles I got to work.

The car got -
- Oil pan gasket with Hylomar blue seal
- main suction tube O-ring
- PFH adapter O rings

and for intake I installed
- OEM elbow
- MRP 3.5" aluminum HFM housing with air screen
- 3.5" to 4" silicone elbow
- specter 4" in / out inline filter with 5" chamber
-4.5" duct to bumper well

I have also ordered a VDO vision vacuum gauge for the third hole in the pillar. When it arrives, I will pull the gauges and make a complete harness now that all spots have been filled.

Anyway, filled the car with fresh liquimoly 10w-60 and no issues or leaks to speak of, it is now 100% ready to go.

Intake worked. 9 degrees out, 30 minute drive, popped the hood. Intake was 29-33 degrees, everything else was hot as hell.
