I know that the question has been asked before but, unfortunately Johannes ar Burkhard didn't offer any details why their motor is better that oem. Daytona do you have any details to support one way vs the other?
Thank you
I would say it is equal to an OEM one, not better or worse. I would say it (potentially) is better than a rebuilt one, only because there are many who have had rebuilt pump motors fail, but so far nobody to have a brand new BE motor fail. Personally, I'm a busy guy, and do not have the time to swap this thing out 5 times before it works correctly. That's why I will be changing the motor, temp sensor, and accumulator while the pump is in my hand getting the clutch slave solenoid replaced (which I am also purchasing from BE).

Anyone know if this will help the infamous SMG summertime blues? (code p1717) edit: I've seen that it helped initially, but has anyone reported long term success?

I'm about ready to swap to a manual because this car is pretty much undrive-able anytime its hotter than 85 degrees.

It appears to have cured it over the last 1k plus miles on my car. There are people in other countries who have several thousand miles on these pumps as well.

Once we reach 10. I'll submit the names to Burkhart and you can order/pay directly to them.
