Default Vigilink instead of the actual linked website?

every time someone posts a link to ECS tuning website.. i click on it and instead of ECS site I get a Vigilink website with other items.

its been doing this for a while now and happens on multiple different computers and my mobile device and is not specific to a mobile, home or work network.

It's a feature that the forums implement (suppose to help pay the bills just like forum sponsors do), it's uber annoying. But you can opt out

May be that's why the website is so difficult to load...my network does not allow ads or redirecting...so, if I click on ECS link, I go directly there. They may need to go paid subscription like what FB is thinking...I don't think anyone like ads.

My Kapersky successfully blocks ads, though some sites and/or advertisers try to buck through it. I just close or ignore the attempts, but since it goes according to which blocker or browser, I don't know what else to do about it. With the ever increasingly aggressive advertising and data collectors, expect it to only get worse.
