What are the hoses made of Tbone? Just be aware that many materials used aren't petroleum safe and will have the oil start to weep through over time, natural rubber is good to go though.

I spent $650 with the oil return and powder coated. But once he gets all the lines out on Ill send you a picture.

Subscribed. This is gold and something I planned to add for my eventual CSL Airbox. Love of simple, affective, and cheap this is. It looks right at how in the engine bay without looking aftermarket.

I dont mean to highjack this thread, but as a number of alternatives are being discussed I thought Id go ahead and share my installation as well.

The objective here was to:
Place whatever little weight there is as far inwards and rearwards as possible
Keep the can out of the way for other things I want to put in the drug bin
Make it look as factory as possible

Looks great. I love how recessed this is. You can definitely still fit the SMG pump in there too.

No worries Vince, happy to have other solutions in here, just wanted to show people you could put something pretty nice together for $50 instead of the expensive ones.

Thanks Leighton (Dr. Dan :P )!

Angelr - I linked the hose in the OP. It's just braided rubber. the PSI rating is more than needed, the size was right , the look was right, the price etc...

Also, an update on this...
I've driven a fair bit now and it's started to collect No leaking anywhere, no codes, no smoking lol

Also forgot to mention in the OP that, in that "filter" - the piece with holes in it, I put some steel wool in to filter the oil even further.

I have the same can you have, but i was told that it's not good to have the steel wool in it, I thought it would be a good filter also

Any reason why? I'm not having any affect on performance or any codes being thrown.

I also tested it by blowing on it and air was pretty easily coming through - I'm not worried about flow.

Stainless steel wool should be OK.
Regular steel wool, not so much.
