Default No sound from speakers

Just picked up a e46 m3 convertible. PO had it wired for subs and the cables are still in the back. My buddy was pulling out a hockey stick and think he bumped something because the speakers died.

The radio works fine, just no sound. Tried pulling the fuses and disconnecting the battery but nothing changed. I donít know if it was possible that the wires touched and somehow shorted the amp? Iím so confused.

There is also a loose cable dangling by the pass through in the trunk. No idea what it goes to, canít find another connector. Any ideas?

Where does the blue wire go? Is it shoved into that harness?

No itís behind it, the angle makes it look like that. The blue wire Iím assuming is the remote in for the amp he had in the car.

That loose connector might have been for the stock sub that sits in the ski-pass, but don't quote me on that.

The first thing you want to do is isolate the problem. If the headunit has power but the speakers don't, then it might have something to do with the amp. The tuner, amp, 6-disc changer, and nav console are all located in the trunk behind the left carpet wall. I'm willing to be there's some odd wiring job behind there for the previous owner's subwoofers, and the act of taking the hockey stick out of the trunk may have adjusted one of the wires to an odd position.

Grab a pic of all the wiring the PO did and that will help immensely.

So I ripped my carpet apart to find nothing that looked out of place. I really am so lost as to what could be causing this..

I'd have to look at my stock amp but do you think you could have blown a fuse?
