After a couple of days, I can confidently say this is the best mod I have ever done any car, ever.

Here is the dyno. Only changes between the 2 dynos were SS Euro mid section and Euro Catback.

previously had stock E46 Mid section and US M3 catback.

The US e36 M3 cat back is necked down up front, if it's not cut off.

e46 M or non M mids before?

Offcouse, It was cut to get the correct ID to match the e46 m mid section.

Where did you merge it with the e46 mid section?

Looking at the dyno, you were making a very healthy stock e46 M3 power beforehand (285 SAE rwhp-- most cars are 270-280 SAE rwhp stock).

Did you move the merge? The loss of power below 4000 and gains above is often the result of moving the merge point in the section 2.

I think i had much closer before. Basically sec. 2 H was where sec1 is suppose to be and on to straight pipes without res. to the Euro muffler.

I suspect that was the actual cause of the results you saw. The S54 is incredibly sensitive to the location of that merge.

And even if not, I'm fine with the power loss-- this muffler has me enjoying driving the car long distances

Video with the e36 M3 muffler. I tried to get a variety of driving types, coming and going, inside and outside of the car. I'll do another once the euro headers and cats are on.

I haven't dynoed mine yet, but I merged a US E36 M3 catback to the E46 OE Sec2. Since it's on an E36 I had to hack it quite a bit to fit, but it's nice and quiet. Too quiet, cause now all I hear are suspension clunks.

One of these days I'm going to dyno that setup back to back with the SS Sec2 + AA 3" muffler setup.
