Why go all out with estoril stickers for the engine bay? I think it looks fantastic. But I feel that last step simply isnít needed. Remove the tiag badge.

Jesus, you guys are just looking to pick on the guy for random things just because you all doubted him and he proved you all wrong.

Why shouldn't he put the badge there? guy spent 15 grand for a complete color conversion, he earned the badge. it's icing on the cake

thats like me saying why do you have "individual inside out" in your sig? it doesnt look individual, just looks like a regular LSB on aftermarket wheels. whats the point of saying it anyways? it isn't needed

The Estoril choice is awesome! Curious, did you have every painted surface, as in engine bay, inside trunk, or just jambs/some choices changed to Estoril? Also, mind telling us - if not cost - how many extra hours of labor the color change costed? It would be an awesome 2017/current reference for the board.

I canít answer that exactly on how much value it lost, but if you were buying for a used m3 would you choose one with all original paint (or at least repainted original color) or one that has been repainted a completely different color? Assuming both are similar condition? A non biased and truthful answer is the one that hasnít been repainted a different color. But if you dont care about snybof that then just ignore my post and enjoy the car.
I think the biggest problem with resprays to new colors is that they're almost never done right. Any potential buyer knows that there will be hints of the old color somewhere on the car, to say nothing of concern over the quality of the work. Basically, the big obstacle is one of trusting both the buyer and the body shop that did the work.

But the OP doesn't seem to have that problem. He's got detailed records of the work performed, and apparently over 500+ photos proving the usual corners weren't skipped (underneath rubber gaskets, trim, etc.). In that situation, I can see the car maintaining its value. Especially if the OP was willing to wait a bit for the right buyer.

Personally? If I found myself with a sudden cash windfall (a very big one at that) and planned to continue holding onto my M3 for the foreseeable future, I'd be sorely tempted by that lovely Grigio Medio. It's a damned easy color to fall in love with. And at that very expensive point, you might as well spend some money on the interior as well. Upgrade it to full leather, have an upholsterer tackle the upper dashboard, etc.

Of course, that's just pure emotion speaking. Financially, it'd be beyond dumb. Unfortunately, dumb can be fun at times

Looks great in Estoril. Also looks like the shop did an outstanding job with attention to every detail which is crucial for a full respray.

Car looks good from what we can tell, enjoy it. If this ever happened to me, British Racing Green is my first choice.
