Now Sal/Imran, can you make this sound like a CSL (if choosing the CF version... if there is one). Molding the trumpets, etc. OR possible making the kit to it can attach to the current airbox assembly (section containing the air filter). :-)

It would be DOPE to have a supercharged car, that sounds like a CSL!

The reason for this is so that we can run a larger supercharger pulley further improving belt traction and life. The larger surface are we have on the supercharger pulley they better it is.

We do not want to be using tiny little pulleys when spinning the blower to it's maximum. It just doesn't work from experience.

The c38 91 is still in its efficiency range up to 14psi on stock crank pulley so maximum efficiency shouldn't be a problem unless your level 2 will supersede 14psi. are you trying to keep secrets here

Running the bigger pulleys all around will result in more boost earlier relative to stock. As long as it is a 8 rib set up there will be no belt slippage even at the 70mm. Anyways I was wondering if you guys increased the alternator diameter too or just crank, water pump, and power-steering ?

This thread is awesome. Very informative, especially for someone who has only elementary understanding of this stuff. Definitely solidifies my thinking behind putting a blower on my vert (eventually) despite being more of an NA traditionalist. Between this and Sal's excellence today I'm really loving Evolve right now.

This, and if you need another hot weather tester in Texas I'm here.

I shall echo these thoughts. If you need a tester for the cold midwest winters, I am here as well.... ... Or if you need a car to compare data between Stock vs Stepped Header vs CF Airbox + Stepped Header, I can fulfill that too

That is probably another part of the push for carbon fiber, because it would definitely have poor sound muffling properties. My only concern would be long term durability with boosting on a carbon manifold, but that may be unfounded.
