I have been torn over a 98 Estoril vert that needs lots of TLC. Has 160K on it. Need to make room in the garage first. Oh, and convince wife that owning 2 E-36 verts is ok since only one would be an M3. Plus is it really so bad to have 3 E-36's in the driveway? Just got my daughter a 318ti. And it's BG.

Today I started that Power Steering mess. Now I need to order some hoses from Pelican.
Then I pulled out most of the interior so I could scrub the carpets. I confirmed why I still don't drink coffee!
I bought some Mother's VLR leather cleaner. Wow. That stuff actually works. The seats are now apart so I can evaluate what cushions and leather are nice and not so nice.
Then I started cutting some old front struts. I had to prepare them for Koni inserts. I used the YouTube air-gun method of taking off the top nut. Yeah! It's fast and easy and harmless. How Install E36 M3 Koni Strut Inserts - by understeerdotcom

I wish you were my PO.

Also, I agree that Boston/Fern do look too dark or too blue in direct sunlight, but in a totally awesome way.

I needed the long memorial-day weekend to get this car moving forward, otherwise, it'll be on stands for weeks. I'll probably never do as much as Calvin where he packs in a 4-day / $4,000 chassis rebuild. Those are out of my league at this time.

The tasks of the day
1 I pulled the FCABs using my patented Windex-ViceGrips method. Fast with no special tools.
2 I cut out the old RTABs so they are ready for the AKG Blacks coming in the mail.
3 I put on the new rear Koni adjustable shocks with new RSMs and Z3 plates.
4 I put the front Koni inserts in and painted the strut housings. The yellow is a little off.
5 Then I had this chrome spray paint laying around for the X-brace. What was I thinking? I guess I can always change it later.

You'll like that AKG black stuff in the suspension.

And are those "Ocean Pacific" pants...

Well.... you're both wrong. International Baggyz
I got 3 pairs free from an old friend. They are comfy but the woman won't let me leave the house with 'em on.
Apparently they are vintage muscle pants.

Haha those are awesome.

Watch a promo for Pain and Gain...

Let me know if you actually notice a difference in adding the X-Brace. I need to source one if it actually affects stiffness enough that I feel a difference through my callous-y ass.

I've added and removed X-braces over the years. I just drive on streets and I have never be able to tell.

Today I got more parts so the weekend should be busy.
I finished the shifter bushings and the Guibo tonight since those parts finally arrived.
