Default E36 M3 Lightweight race car for sale

Interesting project if someone is so inclined.
M3 lightweight that has been raced for several years.
Not sure how many of the original parts still exist but the VIN number matches to a real lightweight. $7,600 as of right now which is considerably less than the $100K I've recently seen.

Anyway, for your reading enjoyment.

Your're car is fairly low milage right?

And very original.

Would you swap out your original engine for this 153k mile one?

btw, like how they managed to swap around the DS/PS wiper arms.

I would. I’m not concerned with originality. My interior is swapped, wing has been put on, front bumper is cut for the splitter supports, driver door has been painted due to being keyed. I LOVE my car, but I’ll never pretend it’s a cream puff. It could be worth 0 dollars to anyone else because I will never sell it unless whatever car I get next means I don’t even enjoy it and more.
I’d love for it to be the perfect spec cream puff, but I knew too little about these cars and wanted one too badly to wait.
Truthfully though I’d want to buy this to restore it to a certain level of LTWness.

Even more truthfully is I’m too broke to do that so it’s just me in fantasy world right now.

Ah seen. Well yours is very clean, but if you have done some modding and swapping, an engine wouldn't hurt.

But if you ever plan on swapping in a Euro S50, go for the B32.

I’d guess the original.
