Maybe BMW M give the M2 C more torque to help haul its chubby ass off the line.

Is it just me or is the M2C not appearing to lap much faster than a regular M2 - at least in the few comparos Iíve seen....

It’s performing about on par with how I was expecting it to perform. As I’ve said before it’s not going to outperform an M3/M4. The competition pkg is just a marketing ploy to attract new buyers and entice existing idiot M2 owners to trade in thinking that they’re really getting a significant upgrade

Well to be fair, the competition (or at least S55) was the cheapest way to meet emissions since the N55 was too pricey to upgrade. All of the marketing savvy was just gravy

I'm also surprised. This is a fairly substantial upgrade. Not many cars get an entirely new engine for an LCI.

Wait till someone loads M4c software. The comp is an undeniable hardware advancement from the regular car and unless you already have skin in the game itís a no brainer.

My mistake on the LCI year. Yes, surprised the difference between the Competition and the original M2 isn't greater than what I've seen.
