Does the subframe bolt to the x-brace or is it just welded to the floor above the mounts? Did you remove the subframe to install/weld the lower brace?
If you need more clearence between the seat and harness bar, it's really easy to do, just angle/tilt the main hoop a bit more. The legs will stay at the same place on the floor plates but the diagonals tubes from main hoop to rear shock tower will have to be shorten a bit.

I always leave my main hoop legs and those diagonals a bit longer sonpeople can adjust and make a better fit for their needs.

The X-brace tie ins are weld to the top of the threaded sleeve in which the subframe is bolt in. You need to cut the first sheet metal layer to have access to this area. You will see welds from factory, I weld a flat bar to connect those welds together than my tubes are slotted and goes on top of this. Than everything is weld together.

You don't need to remove the subframe, heat isn't going to transfer into the subframe bushings and melt them, they are too far away.

Sending you a pm
