Fronts will be shredded if bushings and/or alignment is bad. Front tires wearing quickly is generally the sign of a problem, or bragging rights from an awesome weekend-

budget tire? I know I want to stick to Hankook or PSS. My dilemma, cant decide if the extra 400 for the PSS would be worth it in amount of tread life.

I don't track my car. It's just a DD with maybe a spirited ride or two a month. What do you think - scrounge for the extra and get PSS, or get the V12s and enjoy a slightly heavier wallet?

I say go with the PSS, since tires are the number one thing that determines how your car handles. I haven't heard the best things about the V12s, so I would go for the PSS if i were you.

+1 on PSS. They are a GREAT street tire. Don't skimp on tires they will save your life.

On a side note OP, I will have mine for sale if interested. Going with a track tire.

Rears definitely wear out faster than fronts. I'm on my second set of rears for the year. Although I'm a huge fan of used tires. Bought a set of PS2's for $200 mounted and balanced back in February, and loved them. On Thursday I went and got a set of ContiSport for $180 mounted and balanced, so far so good. I will say the the Continentals are 275/30/19, so they look really good. It gives the car that wide squated look from the back. The ride is a lot stiffer than the PS2's. And less sidewall flex when on a spirited drive.

If you wanna save some cheddar, go on Craigslist and look for used FTW. If you wanna spend the money go PSS for the grip and wet performance. I will say that on this car rear tires are the biggest maintainence item, for mean anyways. My

Hankook v12 are the worst tire I've ever had. Numb, quiet, and the sidewall is too squishy. The pilot super sports on the other hand, are phenomenal.
