Interesting, the software I believe is standard 3.18, if someone sends me a full read I'm happy to compare. I've two DMEs, the first is the one from the car and is the blue line above, the second is the other two runs but I've done a full write from my original on to it before making changes to the partial. Cam, ignition and fuel are all quite different from the factory map starting at around 3k rpm (you can see on the orange map I tried to tune out the flatness below 2.5k but failed miserably!).
I'm guessing we didn't kick up the coolant temp too much as we were often having to stop, reflash, start again then run for a min or so to bring the IAT down a bit before doing a run. I did perhaps 15-20 runs and on all runs was hitting ign targets.

Hi everybody,

I search a XDF file in order to understand the engine maps of my Euro MSS50 but I've only found the "M3-MSS50_1_5_WK9.xdf" file on TunerPro website. However, many maps are not well identified.

Someone would have a better XDF file ? It is not for business, it is only for me. I want to understand how it works.

Thank you in advance.

Guys

I have just converted my SMG S50B32 to a manual. How can I flash the DME with the code for a manual car?

Thanks
Hasan

SMG cars come with the MSS50.1 while the manual cars come with the MSS50, and I don't think it's possible to convert one to the other without reflashing the eeproms directly.

You could try flashing the Z3M software with WinKFP (I think it would be ZB# 1406560). Z3Ms were all manual and came with MSS50.1s

Hasan, you can disable that smg can logic via calibration reflash and use your mss50.1 software.

This is great news. Thanks

Now how do I go about doing it. Please note that I am not very good with tech or computers so I might ask stupid questions.

Really appreciate your help.
