Post E46 Member Bios

After extensive searching I found that only E36 M3 members have a bio thread and E46 members don't. I thought that was odd! Maybe I'm wrong but I feel the E46 M3 community is larger and much more involved. There's such a wide array of people on here I thought this was needed. If this is a repost let me know... I couldn't find any similar thread. Should be worthy of a sticky since only fair vs. E36 members

So what makes up your E46 M3 Bio!?

Jared here, I'm 28, bought my first BMW 4 years ago, then bought my M3 as my 28th b-day present to myself last year. I have a GF. Born/raised in NJ, went to Rutgers University, and graduated with a BS in Computer Science. Came from your avg middle class family. I came from the American Muscle car world of Trans Am's and Camaro's (owned a 1994 Trans AM), switched over to BMW in 2004 when I bought a 330Ci, then bought my home 2006 and saved up for my M3 (dream car) in 2007. I did almost nothing in HG, but college paid off and now I do IT Advisory work for a Big-4 Accounting Firm

I also have been playing the guitar for 14 years, own 5 of them, love rock/metal/house/flamenco/classical music. I am a free-time artist and actually enjoy interior design.

I'm 21, currently reside in Lexington, KY, with main residence in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. (Parent) bought M3 vert over thanksgiving '07 as an early graduation gift. Scholarship 4 years at University of Kentucky so they felt they could spend a little on me seeing as my sister attends a 10k+ per semester school. Graduating in May with a BBA in Marketing and Management with plans for either law school or MBA at UK or U of Minnesota. Love my M and can't wait for more mods (tasteful of course).

22yr old male here. M3 is my 3rd car, previously owned an Subaru STi and an Acura RSX-S. Bought my M3 on my birthday (May '07) after saving up some change, its my dream car Born in Queens NY, and raised in Franklin Lakes NJ. currently living in Clifton NJ. Currently attending Ramapo College of NJ in Mahwah NJ, graduating this semester with a degree in Economics. Started my own business about 2 years ago and it has exploded since which has really helped be more involved with the car enthusiasts/culture. Cant see myself looking for a job since things are going really well on my end, however my college education has been the wisest decision I have made so far so even if I dont use the degree to get a position in the near future, it was well worth it. Thinking about going back to school since I will have the extra time, but short term goals are just to graduate this May!

I'm 17. Bought my m3 on 9-10/07 when I was 16. I recieved as a gift from my parents after I promised that I would dedicate myself to a college medical program after high school. Currently still in high school but plan to head Loyola for further education. Car is basically stock with the exclusion of small exterior acessories and deletions.

This is why you keep your promise. (sorry islavov, I could not resist) Seriously though, that is an awesome gift.

I bought my M this summer. I sould have ignored my ex-gf and just bought an M a long time ago when I bought my 3 series. The lesson learned here was not to let others tell you what to buy when your heart is set on something.

I am 32 and I work in sales. I actually design and sell corporate events. (I design the stage layout, lighting, sound and video.) I got started in this business when I was 16 when I started doing the lights for raves. I went to IU but fell back into the production industry when I learned I could actually make a career out of doing this. I love my job.

To OP - this was a great idea - nice thought!!

Gotta support the 30s generation - Feb 1976 I was hatched, so turning 32 next month - ouch.... Married just over a year - met her first year of vet school, engaged for 5 - it's like we've been married for 9 years....funny how time flies! Our pride and joy is.......not the M.....i'm sorry, she just so much cuter! Four legs, 9 years old, Audi is her name, our English Setter - travels everywhere with us and is the envy of all pet owners we know because she is so well behaved. I'm a Michigan native, liven in Indiana, Virginia, and New York; born and raised around the car culture - motorhead by default - or genes - or something. Outdoor enthusiast too - fly fishing is a passion - no, addiction!!

Got lots of letters after my name now, thanks to 12 year of school - after high school. Not a single regret about it either.
1998 Bachelors, Michigan State Univ - Zoology
2002 Doc Veterinary Medicine - yup, I'm a pet vet! Horses too!!
2007 - became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology - Truly the culmination of years of hard study, long hours, poor pay and two really, really tough board exams. That's right, I play with the cool stuff - CT or CAT scans, ultrasounds, MRI and of course the bread and butter - x-rays or radiology with a little radioactive materials in there from time to time. Well, really just radioactive iodine, which we use to treat hyperthyroidism in cats, in addition to a few others for horses.......I digress.... There are only about 300 of us Veterinary radiologists in the entire world!!

I can honestly say that the years I've spent in veterinary school and during my residency were the best I have ever had - I never imagined I would think that or dreamed it could have been such a great ride.

My wife and I just started our first real paying jobs, she's a vet too - another specialist in fact, small animal internist - so we're finally getting payed what we're worth after all this training. Allowed me to pick up my M3 just about a month or so ago - I've finally earned it and am damned proud to own it. Also have an 89 IROC-Z and a 64 Chevy Malibu in the car barn, so to speak - they both are project cars. Ironically, regarding the Chevies.........and, regarding the BMW of recent I guess - I bleed blue and white - my dad is a retired Ford engineer and again, I claim genes or breeding or something, the Blue Oval is where my heart is. Maybe I can just convert that over to a blue and white Roundel, right??? C-ya around all!!

23yr old Indian-Canadian male here, purchased my M3 on June 1, 2007 from Texas. With the rise of the Canadian dollar combined with good saving/investment/business decisions along the years, I was able to finally purchase my dream car. My previous cars were all leased and all Acuras; RSX, RSX-S, and MDX. I was able to transfer the young lease on my MDX to an individual (with quite a hefty incentive) in order to make room for the M3. I am currently in my final semester at York University for Business Administration combined with owning/managing a furniture retail outlet and assisting my father with his furniture import business.

21 year old currently in college... still. Time hasn't "flown" as i am at the United States Air Force Academy. Bought my M last May, and was the fruition of a plan to stay in "free" school and get my dream car in lieu of college debt, though financing at less than 1% will probably be the envy of the board. Will recieve my BS in History with a minor in German Language this May. I passed up a pilot slot, and will be heading to sunny CA next year. I love my car and she hates me because it snows every day in CO from Dec to Mar!

PS- Thanks to US residents for paying your taxes w/o you i couldn't be here driving an M , i owe you one
