Looks great. This process is a lot of work but have to get it right. I had to do basically the same job on mine. Getting cage in will be the fun part!

I hope to never have to do a repair of that magnitude again. It's likely going to make me slower on the stages, but so be it.

Ha unfortunately part of the game. I had to replace a rail myself as I bought a smacked evo too.

Progress has been a bit slow on the chassis repair, but she's back as a roller and will be dropped off to the cage builder shortly. I'll post a more detailed write-up showing the work to date.

In the mean time:

Any time the UPS guy comes is a good day. Twice as good when they come with rally parts.

You can buy a replacement battery tray and cowl pretty cheap to get rid of those nasty seams from the original repair.

The quality of the welding done on that original repair is absolutely horrendous! Scary to think someone would put that car back on the road.

Looks like a nice build with proper suspension. the D-Mack tires are good but way heavier than others, like to see more e30, especially m3 in the start list

Looking good! I'm going to do similar Warsteiner livery on mine.

The DMacks are surprisingly heavy compared to the BFG's I ran when I raced my Evo. Do they translate to being that much tougher?
