Looks like the cheaper one just goes over your current roof. They have a more expensive CF roof further down the list

That is not a structural roof. The one you linked is mearly a cover that is installed on top of the aluminum roof. It literally is adding weight just for the look. From my understanding reading the description, it won't work for a car with a sunroof.

Their structural CF roof is ~$1,245.

For the cost, the Streamline roof ends up being the cheapest (in the $800's).

How much is the streamline shipped, though? Seems that inflates the cost for us in the US.

Curious about his also. Not ready to buy (if I was I'd just ask them) but this winter a CF roof is on the list (and CF trunk) and streamline is the first place I plan to contact. Price seems great for the quality and fitment they advertise.

Last time I checked, around $2,000+

Remember, you need the non-sunroof liner which the cheapest new is $900+'shipping with ECS.

The freaking non sunroof liner is just absurd cost wise. CF hood has been near the top of my want list but the entire project would cost me $5k'ish. 5k for how many lbs? 45? No thank you since mine is only a street car. Lol

If you plan on re-upholstering your headliner anyways you might be able to find a beige/tan non-sunroof headliner from a basic 325ci. I nabbed one for less than $20 from a scrapyard.

Also I think Lang Racing was selling carbon roofs before at a slight discount due to cosmetic imperfections. I plan on painting my roof anyways as I don't feel exposed carbon or black flows with the roof lines of the e46 coupe.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

The European option may not be the most cost/time effective. I have a feeling shipping would be terrible.

Does anyone have a picture of a Carbon Black car with a Carbon roof? I can decide if I should paint or not.
