Default Need suggestions...

Hi all,

I am in a situation where I need to get an used car for around $5-$6k (I don't want a car note, so I'm paying cash), but the caveat is that I don't want a "cheap" car. For example, I don't want something like a Chevy Cavalier, Toyota Corolla, etc. For business reasons, I need something that portrays a slightly better image (this is mainly going to be used for me to drive fairly short distances and it won't be my main vehicle).

Most of the cars in my price range are going to be in the 2004-2006 model years, and most have 100k-140k miles. I've been looking at the Audi A4, the Volvo S60, and the Nissan Altima simply because car lots nearby had them in my price range. Any suggestions? I found a decent deal on a 2003 Volvo S60, but I've read a bunch of complaints online ... of course, I could probably find complaints about any car online.
Thanks in advance.

As djm3 eluded to- you have stumbled into the wrong area for this q. Best of luck with your search tho, it's always fun buying a car.
