It is on the drawing board. We'll see as time progresses.

Does this Silverline product give me any benefits if I own a 2nd gen nano, or is this mainly for the new iPhones/iPod Touch/3rd gen nano models that had issues with existing DICE modules?

The SILVERLINE will exhibit the same features across the iPod lineup regardless what generation iPod is attached since it is in UART mode.

No matter if you have a scratched up 4th Generation or a brand new 160GB Classic - you will get the same features.

Yes - NAV-specific kits were released on Friday, here's a link to the site:

DICE - SILVERLINE iPod Integration Kit for 3 Series/M3 99-06 (Trunk Interface)
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1621

Plenty in stock for same day shipping.

Tom,

I am actually interested in the units that mount in the driver compartment (Radio Interface) for the Nav. I did not see it on your site. Are the plans for this type of unit?

The radio module is in the trunk, the monitor is nothing but a monitor.

On NAV-equipped vehicles, the trunk interface must be used.

Tom,

I have some questions before placing an order:

1. Are you going to have a DIY up on your site showing install of the radio interface unit, complete with removal of the dash trim and factory head unit? It would be very helpful. I'm nervous when it comes to messing with the dash, based on past experience with non-BMWs.

2. I want to clarify, the radio interface model is definetely compatible with the Business CD in a 2002 M3, nav is not required?

3. Is there a specific way to route the cables so that everything fits behind the dash and the dock connector runs through the hole into the glovebox? The cable bundle looks pretty bulky, that's why I'm asking. I haven't had the head unit out of this car yet (can you tell?) so I don't know how much space is back there.

Thanks in advance for your help - and look for an order from me soon. I think this is the answer to my dreams!
