Default M3 exhaust set up questions and help

Was looking at lightening my exhaust and at the same time maybe squeeze out a bit of power(or not lose any for that matter).

My only real mod I would say is an M50 manifold (at one that makes a real difference, also have an AA gen 3 catback and a short ram).

The car is an AutoX/track car that does see some street time.

what I had in mind was: Supersprint US header reps>Y pipe>3" midpipe with a magnaflow center muffler>Y pipe welded onto my AA gen. all connected with V bands. Florida has no emissions testing so no cats.

In theory this would sort of copy Supersprint's X pipe for the E46 M3. I enjoy the sound of my AA catback too much to get rid of it, so it stays. Thoughts and insights appreciated.

Why not just buy the rest of the AA track pipe setup? The stock manifolds flow perfectly fine for our motors and keep the torque. If you really wanted to replace everything add shorty headers
