Default Wheel Studs Conversion

What is your opinion on the Wheel Studs conversion? What brand do they advise?

Makes installing wheels easier. Makes installing wheels with spacers MUCH easier. I have two cars running Apex studs. No complaints.

You can make a custom flange to connect it to your stock header with JB weld.

Sound is an 8/10, I was expecting it to sound like a V8 since its a V8 exhaust. It doesn't, anybody know why this is? Does it have to do with how I installed it?

I've been thinking about doing one as well. Makes taking wheels off and on much easier. The only thing holding me back is the look. Imo normal wheel bolts look better.

If your only reason is for removal and installation of wheels you need one of these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Wheel-Ha...lWsZvh&vxp=mtr

In my opinion its much easier to use one of these than 5 studs. When you remove the first lug bolt just screw lug guide in then remove the other 4 bolts. the wheel will hang on the guide and makes it easy to remove the wheel without nicking the wheel on the brake caliper. When installing the wheel its easier to line up one guide pin than it is 5 lugs.

Check your tool kit in the trunk, you may even have one in there.

I want to run 20mm spacers on the front, so I will be removing my APEX studs lol

Turner Motorsport 90mm studs on mine. I like the look, and that I don't have to swap wheel bolts if I change up wheels/spacers. They just stick out more or less depending on what is on the car at the time.

Also running the Apex stud kit, no regrets. Also did this on my previous S4, a must have imo... Makes life so much easier when installing wheels, especially with spacers.

Love having the studs, makes things so much easier and even looks pretty neat.
