Thanks for posting this up Stash! I really hope this one works. Like many on this thread I have been on the market for a CF driveshaft as well.

Hey man, no problem, always happy to try and help the community! Haha, yeah, me too brother! I hope this works out as much as the next person, but I'm gonna reserve judgment until I get my hands on it.

Here's a reply from Mfactory in regards to the balance/vibration issue:

Most definitely not, no.

Ours are balanced to 12000rpm, so should not have the vibrations that our competitors products have.

Thanks!

All this sounds almost too good. I hope it meets our expectations.

Do they have a e46 MT tester yet? Too bad my car is stuck in the garage because of the whole airbag recall business or I would totally jump on that offer.

Here's a little more info from Mfactory:

Re: CF Driveshaft
My apologies. I'm not currently in the US. Overseas on business. My name is Michael.

The complete unit weighs around 5kg, so around 11lbs

Installation is straightforward; just a simple swap out of the oem driveshaft

I am intrigued, but until it's proven issue free I probably would not touch it, I wish someone took a new m2/4 shafts (cf I believe) and reverse engineered it for e46, both of those cars put down more power then our cars so the robustness is proved
