I don't think it will see track time this year.

Today I needed to do another mod.

My car was equipped with this amazing C33 radio that has self ejects. Yes. Every time I hit the breaks the radio slides out of the dash.

I've had this...

in the garage for a few weeks. I was planning on doing a Bluetooth mod to it but the current radio was driving me nuts.

More to come.

Interesting. Breaking would force the radio forwards

I do like the older headunit, but the CD43 is technically superior.

OEM plus is the way!So jealous of the cloth vaders, ITB's, etc.. So happy to see an M3 get the proper attention it needs. Curious, are you living in the US? Ive wanted a EURO spec M3 for quite some time, but was led to believe its illegal to import.
How did you get it imported?

I live in Canada. The car was imported from Japan in 2010.

Canada has a 15 year old rule for imports that were not sold in Canada originally. I think the US has a similar rule with 25 year old cars.

I'm starting to find out that the euro spec parts can be a pain in the a$$. All of the US sites that offer them online promptly cancel the orders when they find out the part is euro spec only.

I have personally had 8 parts marked to "no longer available" on ECS Tuning after I put in orders.

I have now ordered a boat load of parts from Germany but the Germans are slow as hell.

Canada, makes sense. I was led to believe the same 25 year rule as well.
Best of luck to you and your build.
