I am with Nick and wondering which wheel you bought for $150? Is it the US, first gen Euro, or second gen Euro 3 spoke wheel?

Only reason that I ask is that a good second gen Euro steering wheel goes typically for at least $300. I paid well over $400 for mine IIRC.

$391 without clock spring. That's pretty typical for eBay. $150, with airbag and clock spring is not. Did you paste the wrong link? There are deals out there. Just want to make sure you're getting what you need.

You got the switch bracket too, right? That's nice and cheap from the stealer.

Here's a DIY I wrote up years ago when I did my swap. Has all the info you need + pics.

I didn't see the pics before. Yes, the clock spring is there. The wheel is a little beat up, but for $150, who's complaining.

Trevor's DIY is very helpful. It doesn't go over centering the clock spring, as he bought his new and they come centered, but it's something I'd recommend doing. It should be centered. But you never know. If its off, you'll rip the wires out with the wheel at full lock.

Rotate it and count the turns from its pisition in one direction, then the other. They should be the same. I can't remember how many turns it gets. But you'll know it if the clock spring is rotated to one side. I know someone that had a used clock spring that wasn't positioned correctly and he ripped the wires out turning out of the driveway. A new one isn't cheap.

Good luck with the swap, enjoy

Hmm..I thought those steering wheels had a similar diameter to our school bus wheel. I know my euro 3 spoke isn't any smaller.
