Default Another Frank Smith Appreciation Thread

Finally got my car back together.
Rod bearings all done, engine back in car.

Literally today got back from vacation, sent my DME info to Frank via email and within the matter of hours received it back. Plug n Play and back on the road..

Thanks a ton TTFS

Stock motor but I did the karbonius CSL airbox conversion a while back along with a map sensor etc from TTFS. A LOT of health & family issues happened shortly after so I never really sent TTFS my data logs as I stopped driving the M3 (left arm was numb / muscle atrophy due to cervical nerve damage). Well I recently got a disc replacement surgery and have regained use of my left arm so I can finally drive my car! So the tune I'm waiting for is just a minor tweak to the base CSL tune so my car won't have a "labored breathing rpm" type idling at stand still. Spoke with Justin at TTFS about 3 weeks ago and he sent my data logs to Frank so just waiting on Frank to work his magic for me.
