Does this issue effect all mirrors - rectangle and oval - equally?
Also, when/why were different mirrors spec'd? Based on year or option package? I have the rectangle but always liked the oval a bit more.

Bump for a good service. Just had mine sent back to me, looks like radar mirror did a great job. the liquid in my mirror had covered half the mirror and now it's perfect. here is a pic of the after math. tiny blemish in the corner but I was able use a blow dryer and flatten the black acrylic. quick shipping/turn around. would shop again.

I have the same questions. I have an 06 with the oval but luckily no issues yet.

OP, unfortunately, you are a victim of photobucket. It would be great if you would rehost the photos so people can see them.

I guess I'm a new member of the failed rear view mirror club. I thought when this happens, the fluid leaks out. I don't see any fluid anywhere. Is there a danger it will leak?

Is everyone happy with this repair option?

Another bump for Radar-Mirror.

Scott was quick to respond to questions and turned the mirror around the same day he received it.

Yet another great service provided to our community. Guys like Raj at Beisan, Vince with his bar and plates, and Scott with Radar-Mirror, are a huge part of what makes E46M ownership such a pleasure! Cheers Scott!

Below is a before and after look:
